Go with the Flow
Launched on the May Bank Holiday Weekend 2007
with events in Faringdon, Oxford, Banbury and Henley, this festival
runs through the summer, at waterside locations around
Oxfordshire.
The aim of Go with the Flow is to help people
enjoy the waterways and the opportunities they offer for sport and
wellbeing - fishing, sailing, canoeing, rowing, walking, bird-watching,
cruising, conservation, and of course sitting by the water's edge
watching the world go by.
We are working with the Environment Agency, Thames Water,
the BBC, First Great Western, Aziz Restaurants, Henley Festival, the River and Rowing
Museum and many other organizations to create a memorable series of
events.
We are also raising money for Water Aid and the
Pontoon Project for disabled sailors.
The festival is one of many celebrating 1000 years
of Oxfordshire in 2007. It receives financial support from Thames Water,
First Great Western, Oxford City Council, Aziz Restaurants, HEDFAS, and Oxfordshire
County Council.
